Jade Roller & Gua Sha Board Manufacturing Process
Complete factory production workflow from raw stone selection to finished product inspection. Every natural jade beauty tool goes through strict handmade & mechanical procedures.
The entire production starts with strict raw jade stone selection. Our raw materials are sourced from authentic producing areas including Liaoning Xiuyan, Xinjiang Hetian, and imported jade materials from Myanmar.
Workers manually screen every rough stone to eliminate materials with cracks, dark spots, mineral impurities, uneven color or brittle texture. Only stones with stable density, uniform texture and natural delicate luster can enter the production line.
This step determines the final quality, durability and skin-touch feeling of jade rollers and gua sha boards. Bad stone materials cannot be repaired in later processes.
After stone selection, senior craftsmen manually draw accurate contours on the flat surface of raw jade stones. According to different product models, they mark standard sizes for facial jade rollers, body rollers, and multi-shape gua sha boards.
The drawing process strictly follows ergonomic proportions. Curved edges, radian angles, thickness ratio and symmetrical outlines are all manually calibrated to ensure perfect massage fitting effect.
This step maximizes the utilization rate of natural jade materials while avoiding natural texture defects.
Marked raw stones are sent to precision cutting machines. Professional circular thin-blade equipment cuts along the drawn lines to separate the preliminary roller blanks and gua sha blanks.
During cutting, workers control speed and pressure steadily to prevent cracking, chipping or internal damage of natural jade. Natural jade is fragile, so cutting must be slow and precise.
After cutting, the stones turn from rough raw materials into primary semi-finished products with basic product outlines.
Semi-finished products enter the coarse grinding procedure to remove cutting traces, sharp corners and redundant rough edges.
Workers grind the surface and edges repeatedly to form basic smooth radian. For gua sha boards, every curved massage edge, pressure point edge and facial contour edge is trimmed one by one.
This step eliminates all sharp parts to prepare safe skin-contact foundation for later fine polishing.
Fine grinding is the core procedure that determines the comfort level of jade massage tools. Workers use multiple precision abrasive wheels of different fineness to polish the surface layer by layer.
Every radian of the jade roller surface, every curved edge of the gua sha tool is manually corrected to ensure perfect fitting for human face, neck, shoulder and body muscle lines.
After fine grinding, the product surface becomes delicate, even and silky without any granular feeling.
Specially for jade rollers, professional bit equipment drills smooth and round assembly holes. The hole diameter and depth strictly match stainless steel or wooden roller shaft standards.
Drilling speed is controlled slowly to avoid stone cracking or hole edge chipping. The inner wall of the hole is also finely polished to ensure smooth rotation without jamming.
Gua sha boards skip drilling process and directly enter final polishing stage.
This is the most critical process for product texture presentation. Products are polished with ultra-fine polishing powder and professional cloth wheels for repeated high-gloss finishing.
After multiple rounds of deep polishing, the jade surface presents natural translucent luster, smooth mirror effect, delicate and moist touch unique to natural jade.
No chemical wax, no artificial coloring, all gloss comes from pure physical polishing, ensuring 100% safe and pure natural skin contact.
Jade roller stones are assembled with high-quality anti-rust metal brackets and comfortable handle materials. All assembly work is finished manually by skilled workers.
After assembly, every roller is tested repeatedly for rotation flexibility. Unsmooth rotation, shaking or deflection products are eliminated directly.
The final finished roller must rotate smoothly, silently and stably without stuck condition.
Every finished product undergoes 100% manual inspection before packaging. Inspectors check surface smoothness, edge safety, luster uniformity, stone texture integrity and assembly stability.
Products with tiny cracks, color difference, unsmooth edges or defective rotation will be discarded. Only perfect qualified products can enter packaging and warehousing.
All qualified products can support official national or Guangdong jewelry authentication certificate application.
Qualified products are cleaned with professional jade cleaning solution to remove polishing dust and tiny impurities, then air-dried naturally in dust-free workshop.
Finally, products are packed independently with vacuum packaging and customized gift boxes to prevent oxidation, scratch and pollution during international transportation.
